The morning of Saturday 20th April in Ilkley,saw the Kokoro Academy have its first student promoted to the rank on 1st Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing. Later in the day two other students from the Academy took and passed their Taekwondo Blackbelt grading, bringing the total to 4 students being promoted to 1st Degree Black Belts in Taekwondo in the last 6 months.

The Kokoro Academy is fast becoming a home to multiple style Black Belt students and instructors. We would like to congratulate the newest members to join the rank of Black Belt in the Academy, now the work starts to increase your knowledge and skill. Earning a Black Belt takes hard work and dedication, living up to being a Black Belt is another level again, we look forward to you training in the years to come.
